heard 1 well per 40 acres is 50,000 and septics are 15-20,000,how are you allowed to dig separate wells for 2 acres?

Not sure I understand the question, but I’ll talk around the topic:
The plan is for each 2 to 4 acre lot (not “parcel”) to have one well.
We were quoted around $30k for a 450′ well.
We were also quoted $15-20k for a septic when there’s at least 7′ of soil, and 2 to 3 times that much when there’s not.
