Our model is to have every homestead be independent of all others. That way, if your well goes down, you have four neighbors who can run a hose to your house while you fix your well. If all of you are on one well…. won’t work out so good.
Now, that said, another option would be to connect your water system with your neighbor’s with a valve in between. So, if one of your wells goes down, instead of running a hose, you just turn the valve.
