Are there restrictions on motorized vehicle use?

We have lived in many off-grid situations, and overall it is what we always want to do. Finding a community of truly like-minded souls is important to us.

One of the biggest spoilers for us is the noise, dust, exhaust, and ethos of the side-by-side/OHV/four-wheeling crew. Are there rules in place about this?

Thanks!

We’re an agricultural co-op, not a recreation co-op.  So, I suspect the use of such vehicles will be minimal.

The ONLY “rules” in place at this point are that every member agrees to build out their off-grid homestead to include:
– a passive solar home,
– a barn or shop,
– a greenhouse,
– government-approved septic, and
– a solar power system.
AND every member agrees to obey the applicable county, state and federal laws.
That’s it.
Other than that, no rules about behavior have been set, nor do we suspect will ever be set by the co-op.
We do plan to have a conflict resolution team in case you and your neighbor(s) have challenges you can’t resolve on your own.
